but because of falling in love with David, bravely Mellor goes out from her paths, she tries something new that she never did it before. in the last....David purposes her and she leaves her school. she says that school is boring, teaching is boring, studying is boring. she says that without knowing the consequences. time by time Mellor has forgotten his dream to study in Oxford. she prefers to get marry.

on a night, when David asks Mellor and her parents to have dinner, Mellor gets surprised. She opens David's car drawer and sees some letters pointed to Mr and Mrs. David Goldman. She shocks and asks David to take her and her parents home. now, Mellor knows all David has married and lives near their house. but when Mellor asks David to explain it all to their parents, suddenly David leaves them with big question marks in Mellor's dad's brain.

Mellor feels desperate, and suddenly she remembers that she have left her final examination because of that man, so she comes back to her school but she is refused by the headmistress, she doesn't get desperate easily and goes to her favorite teacher and asking for her help. Her teacher wants to help Mellor.

finally, in the last of the story. Mellor is accepted in Oxford University, taking English language studies, and she meets a boy and they're getting nearer and her boy friend asks her to go to France (Gee whiz! I haven't told you that Mellor is addicted everything about France, about Paris, its songs, cuisines, dances, everything! and she ever went to Paris with David), and Mellor answers happily like she never went to Paris before!

a quote that i get from this film is "there is no shortcut if you want to reach life that you want" (sorry for bad grammatical) it means "gak ada yang namanya jalan pintas kalo mau mencapai hidup yang kamu inginkan" that's totally true. if you want to be successful person you have to walk in the way although it's hard!☺
