between their opinions and mineas you know. i want to be a doctor. a pediatric neurosurgeon exactly. hmm yah, it's my dream since i was in kindergarten, but when i was kindergarten i prefer to be a dentist.
doctor. some parents want their children to be a doctor, so do my parents. they want me to be a doctor. it's not a problem, cause i love science, and i love biology. but now...they don't want me to be a doctor. why? because they think medical school is expensive (yah i know it's expensive but how if i get a scholarship?) and their study period is really long (in fact, neurosurgery needs 11 years studying! yah it's too long. but I'm ready!), and the last but not least, their reason is being a doctor is hard! you have to take PTT (working in a very remote village, unreachable, and so far from the city), and studying in medical school is not as easy as you think! you have to memorize so many latin names of animals or plants, and you will me thick books and they're all in English! see? you have to be major in English if you want to be a medical school student! yah...those all are my parents' reason why they prefer asking me to be a scientist than a doctor. they want me to work in laboratory than working in hospital. actually my hidden ambition is being an engineer and a pilot. yesterday, when we were going home from a restaurant in West Jakarta, i told my dream to be an engineer like Mr. B.J.Habibie to my brothers. i said "i want to make a rocket! or a plane!" but you know what's their reaction? they laughed at me! see? they think that my dream is funny! i am sure it's not! how if there will be a rocket's airport (or what's the name) in Indonesia? and it's made by me? (imagining). how about to be a pilot, nggi? i ever told it to my mum. and she disagree. actually she wants one of her children to be a pilot. but she's not really brave to face the risks, yah you know what's the biggest risk you've to face if your lovely person being a pilot. it's about her/his safety, isn't it? so yah...it's better if we surrender it all to God. surely, He has made something good to my future. i have been in a science school, so maybe i still will be at science track. between math, physics, biology, or chemistry. what will i take? what will be suggested by the tester? let's see! ![]() Labels: blah 29.8.11 Add Comment [0] |
